Other Events.

On January3, 2017, Autoliv, Inc. (the Company) announced that it
has entered into a final agreement with Volvo Cars to form a
joint venture to develop the next generation of autonomous
driving and driver assistance programs. The final agreement is
based upon a letter of intent that was entered into by the
parties in the fall of 2016. A copy of the Companys press release
announcing entry into a final agreement for the joint venture is
attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form
8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
