On August24, 2017, Astrotech Corporation (the “Company”) received a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market notifying the Company of its failure to maintain compliance with the $1.00 per share of common stock minimum closing bid price requirement over the preceding 30 consecutive trading days as required by Marketplace Rule5550(a)(2).The letter stated that the Company has until February 20, 2018 to demonstrate compliance by maintaining a minimum closing bid price of $1.00 per share of common stock for a minimum of 10 consecutive trading days. If the Company cannot demonstrate compliance, further steps may be taken, up to and including the delisting of its common stock from The NASDAQ Capital Market.

The Company has not yet determined what action, if any, it will take in response to this letter, although the Company intends to monitor the closing bid price of its common stock between now and February 19, 2018, and to consider available options if its common stock does not trade at a level likely to result in the Company regaining compliance with The NASDAQ Capital Market minimum closing bid price requirement.
