Assured Guaranty Ltd. is a holding company. The Company provides, through its subsidiaries, credit protection products to the United States and international public finance, including infrastructure, and structured finance markets. It conducts its financial guaranty business on a direct basis through the companies, including Assured Guaranty Municipal Corp. (AGM), Municipal Assurance Corp. (MAC), Assured Guaranty Corp. (AGC), Assured Guaranty (Europe) Ltd. (AGE) and Assured Guaranty Re Ltd. (AG Re). AGM provides financial guaranty insurance on debt obligations issued in the United States public finance and global infrastructure markets. MAC offers insurance and reinsurance on bonds issued by United States or municipal Governmental authorities. AGC provides insurance and reinsurance on debt obligations in the global structured finance market and offers guarantees on obligations.
