A report from Taiwan-based DigiTimes claimed that the tech giant will add a new glass-film touchscreen to the Watch Series 3, replacing the current touch-on-lens solution, Mac Rumors reported.


The next Apple Watch version is said to get a camera.

Users will be able to take selfies and make calls using the front-facing camera.

According to Digitimes, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will start shipping the Watch 3 in the second half of 2017. The watch is expected to announce in September along with the iPhones.

In addition, reports suggest that Apple will add some health and fitness features to the third version its smartwatch.
