Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Could Lose This Female Executive

Bozoma Saint John, who oversees marketing efforts of Apple Music and iTunes, could soon leave Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Axios (via Apple Insider) reported, citing unnamed sources.

In a brief report, Axios said that Saint John is planning to leave the iPhone maker as Head of Global Consumer Marketing for Apple Music.

The publication was unable to tell why and when Saint John is leaving Apple.

Following the Apple’s acquisition of Beats Music in 2014, Saint John became part of the Cupertino-based tech giant. She is one of the company’s few female executives.

Saint John has been working behind the scenes to negotiate deals and strengthen the Apple Music brand. She gave a memorable onstage presentation of the Apple Music app update at the last year’s Worldwide Developers Conference.

Ghana-born Saint John immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She is a graduate of Wesleyan University in advertising and marketing.

Prior to joining Beats Music in 2014, Saint John worked at PepsiCo. She led the food company’s entry into music festival-based marketing.
