Item 8.01.Other Events.
On March 22, 2019, Apartment Investment and Management Company (“Aimco”) issued a press release announcing the results of the stockholders’ elections relating to the special dividend of $2.02 per share of common stock announced on February 4, 2019. The special dividend consists of $67.1 million in cash and 4.5 million shares of common stock, and is payable on March 22, 2019.
A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
