Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN), Facebook, Inc (NASDAQ:FB) And Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Europe Woes

Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN), Facebook, Inc. Common Stock (NASDAQ:FB) and Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) have every reason to worry about Europe. According to some foreign regulators, these U.S. tech companies are believed to have reached the top by cheating.

The Soaring up of these giant companies to the highest ranks in terms of business success around the same time was a matter that took a lot of people by surprise. A crackdown on them is ongoing and one is left wondering whether or not this could spell out the end to an amazing growth story.

It was a tough moment for Google when the European Commission in June hit it with a $2.7 billion antitrust penalty. The search giant disputed the accusations leveled against it. However, the rest of the U.S. tech industry did not rise to the occasion.

One of the top executives working with the top provider rose to its defense. He outlined that money wasn’t really the issue. He further outlined that for a company of their status $2.7 billion was really no big deal. This was an amount that would barely dent the provider’s $92 billion cash reserve according to Yahoo.

One thing is coming out clearly in the recent times. Most of the regulators in Europe and in other parts of the globe seem determined to punish the various American tech firms. The other thing is that they are doing much in a bid to try and influence decision making in the wide array of such firms. They have always hidden behind the masks of privacy and fairness to further their motives.

It is sad indeed that national governments seem inclined to bending mighty firms for instance Facebook .A transnational lawyer at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg in New York, Ivo Entchev while addressing news reporters recently said, “Legislators, administrative bodies, and courts around the world are starting to take on giants like Google and Amazon.”We can only speculate what happens next but only time will reveal the truth. In spite of the challenges, the top stocks continue to shine in the world markets.
