Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) To Set Up Stores In India To Boost Pixel Bales

Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), in a bid to provide a major lift to its Pixel smartphones, has plans underway to unveil brick-and-mortar stores in India.

Ever-changing business dynamics are compelling a large number of companies around the globe to move ahead and take up any opportunities for growth in order to remain relevant. Even Google isn’t exempted from that and has been directing much of efforts into coming up with working business strategies to help boost its operations and develop an edge over rivals.

The company’s spokesperson opined, “Google is exploring the idea of physical stores after finding an encouraging response to more than a dozen pop-up stores opened in malls across the country to showcase the second generation Pixel phones. India is the world’s second biggest wireless market with 1.2 billion mobile subscribers.”

Since its establishment, Google has always been keen on protecting its image and that may serve as an explanation as to why the company at times declines to make comments on rumors and speculations. An official working with Google in a recent interview praised the move by the company saying that it was a timely one. He moved ahead to make projections citing that they anticipated challenges along the way, however. That is the way it is with most new business deals but he revealed that as a company they were willing to take risks and counter challenges that might be popping up along the way.

India is fast rising in terms of economic growth and it goes without saying that there will still be more business gurus willing to move towards the company to take advantage of the huge demand for products.

By venturing into India Google is attempting to become a more vibrant firm. Google will also be seeking to obtain numerous business incentives from the Indian government but that is something that we will just have to wait and see as to whether it will be successful.
