(b) On March 23, 2018, George H. Conrades notified Akamai Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") that he will retire from the Board of Directors (the "Board") effective as of the 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of the Company. Effective March 23, 2018, the Board elected Frederic V. Salerno as Chairman of the Board to succeed Mr. Conrades who stepped down from the position as of that date.
