Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On April 17, 2018, Aetna Inc. ("Aetna") issued a press release announcing that (i) first-quarter 2018 results will be made public on Tuesday, May 1, at 6:30 a.m. ET; and (ii) effective for the first quarter of 2018, it realigned its business segments to correspond with changes to its management structure and internal management reporting, which reflect its evolving business strategy of helping its members live healthier lives.

Given its pending transaction with CVS Health Corporation, Aetna will not host a conference call in conjunction with its first-quarter 2018 earnings release and does not expect to do so for future quarters.

A copy of that press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and hereby incorporated in this Item 7.01 by reference.
