Item 7.01.Regulation FD Disclosure.

On October13, 2017, Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that NASDAQ has halted trading of the Company’s common stock. A meeting of the Dermatologic and Ophthalmic Drugs Advisory Committee of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has been scheduled for October13, 2017 to review the Company’s New Drug Application for Rhopressa™ (netarsudil ophthalmic solution) 0.02% for the treatment of patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated by reference into this Item 7.01.
