Other Events.
On December 22, 2016, Westfield Bank (the Bank), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Western New England Bancorp, Inc. (the Company)
(NasdaqGS: WNEB) issued a press release in which Westfield Bank
was recognized by the SBA as the top western Massachusetts
third-party lender by dollars and volume for 2016. The press
release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
