(e) On August 1, 2017, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Calix, Inc. (the “Company”) approved the award of a special cash performance bonus of $140,000 to Michael Weening, the Company’s Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. The Compensation Committee awarded the bonus to Mr. Weening in recognition of his leadership in transforming the sales and marketing organization and his significant contributions toward the Company’s initiatives to drive revenue growth.
