(b) Departure of Directors

On May 15, 2017, Jeannot Krecké announced his intention to resign as a member of the board of directors of Trinseo S.A. (the “Company”) for personal reasons effective May 22, 2017. There are no disagreements between Mr. Krecké and the Company.

 

ITEM 8.01 Other Events.

In response to Mr. Krecké’s resignation the Company filed additional definitive proxy materials to remove Mr. Krecké as a Board nominee standing for election at its 2017 annual general meeting of shareholders.

Trinseo S.A. is a materials company. The Company operates under two divisions: Performance Materials and Basic Plastics & Feedstocks. The Performance Materials division’s segments include Synthetic Rubber, Latex and Performance Plastics.
