The terms of C. Peter Mahurin, Michael R. McWherter, and Joe H. Ritch as members of the TVA Board of Directors ended January 3, 2017, with the adjournment of the second session of the 114th Congress. Their terms of office, which began in 2013, expired May 18, 2016. The TVA Act permitted them to continue to serve as Directors until the end of this session of Congress.
