On February28, 2018, Hillary Smith, the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Square, Inc. (the “Company”) notified the Company of her intention to resign from her position as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Company, effective as of March18, 2018. Ms.Smith will remain an employee to provide transitional services to the Company through September 2018, during which time she will continue to be paid her current salary and to receive Company benefits, including continued vesting of her equity awards in accordance with their terms.
The Company’s current Associate General Counsel, Sivan Whiteley, has been appointed to serve as General Counsel, effective upon Ms.Smith’s resignation.
