The stock of Splunk Inc (NASDAQ:SPLK) closed at $80.09 and gained a tad 0.75% in yesterday’s trading session. Splunk today made an announcement regarding its latest product integrations with Amazon.com, Inc (NASDAQ:AMZN) AWS, Big data security and the IoT use cases.
Splunk has over the years expressed its commitment in supporting new innovations to impress its wide array of customers. The company’s spokesperson has recognized the great role played by Amazon GuardDuty and the Amazon Kinesis Firehose.
At the moment, quite a large number of customers have been spotted leveraging the Amazon Kinesis Firehose integration in the streaming of AWS data into Splunk® solutions in a bid to manage their IT and security environments.
The chief product officer for Splunk, Richard Campione, opined, “The new integrations make it even easier for Splunk users from IT, marketing, sales, operations and beyond to access and turn AWS data into answers in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud. According to him, the ultimate goal is to move ahead and offer customers end-to-end visibility. That covers the whole of their infrastructure and it targets empowering so that they get to a point where they can be able to reach timely, data-driven business decisions.
The general manager of Amazon Web Services and Amazon Kinesis, Roger Barga outlined that Splunk remained committed to delivering innovative solutions across the various use cases available. This is part of the reasons as to why AWS Partner Network is willing to strike a partnership with it.
