On April 30, 2018, Redwood Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) made available an investor presentation, which includes certain preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2018. A link to the presentation materials is available at the Company’s website at www.redwoodtrust.com, in the Newsroom section of the website under “Presentations.” An archive of the presentation materials will be available at the same location for 90 days.
The Company estimates GAAP book value at March 31, 2018 of $16.12 per share. Additionally, the presentation materials provide estimates of the GAAP fair value and associated allocated capital at March 31, 2018 of residential loans, securities, and mortgage servicing rights held in Redwood’s Investment Portfolio segment and assets held in Redwood’s Residential Mortgage Banking segment.
The preliminary financial results for the first quarter of 2018 presented represent the most current information available to management. The Company’s actual results may differ from these preliminary estimates due to the completion of the Company’s financial closing procedures, final adjustments and other developments that may arise between the date of this report and the time that financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 are finalized.
