Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) has revealed that music technology innovator ROLI has signed up to Oracle Netsuite to help manage vital business processes.
Oracle made the announcement yesterday revealing that ROLI is the latest company to implement NetSuite OneWorld. ROLI will use NetSuite to manage critical aspects of its business such as order management, inventory management and financials, multi-currency management and CRM. The implementation has been in motion since September last year. This implementation allows ROLI to take advantage of the rapid sales growth as its products such as the Lightpad Block and the Seaboard Block gain popularity in the music industry.
ROLI, which was founded in London in 2009 has recently been gaining popularity especially due to the revolutionary nature of its musical instruments. The Seaboard, a digital instrument, is by far the most popular product from the company and it has even secured numerous awards for its innovations. It replaces the regular keys in a piano with touch-sensitive black keys that give musicians more control over the sound.
“As a company, ROLI is focused on innovation, growth and delivering world-class experiences for its customers and music lovers everywhere,” stated Mark Woodhams, the Managing Director for Oracle NetSuite.
Woodhams also added that NetSuite OneWorld is an ideal fit for ROLI especially because it offers scalable and flexible solutions. This will allow the company to spread to the global reach with ease while optimizing growth. NetSuite was the ideal offering and it features a series of attractive features. These include automated tax calculation and reporting, support for 20 languages, support for customer transactions in more than 200 countries and support for more than 190 currencies.
ROLI expects Netsuite OneWorld to offer real-time global financial consolidation across all its subsidiaries around the world. It will also offer agility and flexibility within the platform among other advantages such as a 360-degree view of customers as well as functionality that has been designed for modern businesses. ROLI expects these features to help in simplifying and improving its operations.
Oracle stock closed the latest trading session on Wednesday at $49.25 after a 0.86 percent decline compared to the value of the stock during the previous close.
