On November 11, 2016, Dr. James McFarland informed the Board of Directors of Newpark Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) that he would not stand for re-election at the Company’s next annual general meeting of shareholders (the “Annual Meeting”) and will retire from the Board effective as of the next Annual Meeting.
