On May 15, 2017, the Board of Directors of the Hologic, Inc. (the
Company) elected Charles J. Dockendorff as a director of the
Company, effective immediately. Mr. Dockendorff was formerly the
executive vice president and chief financial officer of Covidien
plc.
Mr. Dockendorff, who will stand for election by stockholders at
the Companys 2018 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, has been
appointed to serve on the Audit and Finance Committee of the
Board of Directors. As a non-employee director of the Company,
Mr. Dockendorff will receive compensation as described in the
Director Compensation section of the Companys 2017 Proxy
Statement.
