approximately 90% of HollyFrontiers 177,272,090 shares of common
stock outstanding as of the March 13, 2017 record date. The
matters submitted for a vote and the related results are set
forth below. A more detailed description of each proposal is set
forth in HollyFrontiers definitive proxy statement on Schedule
14A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March
23, 2017 (the Proxy Statement).

HollyFrontier Corporation (HollyFrontier) is an independent petroleum refiner. The Company produces various refined products, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products, and specialty and modified asphalt. The Company operates through two segments: Refining and Holly Energy Partners, L.P. (HEP). The Refining segment includes the operations of the Company’s El Dorado, Tulsa, Navajo, Cheyenne and Woods Cross Refineries and HollyFrontier Asphalt Company (HFC Asphalt).
