On March 2, 2018, Andrew J. Lock, President, Herman Miller International of Herman Miller, Inc. (the “Company”), advised that he will retire from the Companyeffective July 31, 2018 after 26 years with the Company. Although no successor to Mr. Lock has been named, the Company has a succession plan in place with a deep bench of talent throughout its Internationalbusiness, and a very capable, leading internalcandidate. Mr. Lock’s successor will be named in thenear futurein order to allow for a smooth and deliberate transition.
