On August 9, 2019, Hope Taitz notified the boards of directors (collectively, the “Boards”) of Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. (the “Registrant”) and Greenlight Reinsurance, Ltd. (“Greenlight Re” and together with the Registrant, the “Companies”) of her resignation as a member of the Boards of the Companies and from all committees of the Boards of the Companies. Ms. Taitz’s resignation as a director of the Companies was not as a result of a disagreement with the Companies on any matter relating to the Companies’ operations, policies or practices.
