On March 27, 2017, GlobalSCAPE, Inc. (GlobalSCAPE or
the Company) announced that RSM US LLP, or RSM, had been dismissed as the Companys independent registered public accounting firm and filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the Original 8-K) in connection therewith.
At the time of the filing of the Original 8-K, RSM had
not provided the Company with the letter addressed to the Securities and Exchange Commission stating whether or not RSM agreed with the Companys statements in Item 4.01(a) of the Original 8-K. A copy of that letter, dated April 4, 2017, is attached hereto as Exhibit 16.1. |
