On February27, 2018 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time), GI Dynamics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued an Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) announcement containing its preliminary financial results for the fiscal year ended December31, 2017. A copy of the ASX announcement is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The preliminary financial results are currently under audit by the Company’s auditors, Moody, Famiglietti& Andronico, LLP, with final audited results to be released in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
