Frontier Communications Corp (NASDAQ:FTR) announced that it opened its doors for veteran communication executive Victoria Boston to join as its new vice president of sales and retention in Southern California.
Frontier Communications announced that it hired Boston as its new senior VP of sales. She was offered the position on account of her many years of experience as a communications executive, thus making her a good fit for the position. She is expected to report to Cecilia McKenney, Frontier’s executive VP of Consumer sales and Marketing.
“I am delighted to welcome Victoria to Frontier. She knows it is critical to provide exceptional customer experience, and develop compelling offers and solutions to retain and grow our customer base. Given her expert FiOS customer service experience, she will hit the ground running, and will leverage her strong relationships with employees, vendors and customers.” stated McKenney.
Boston has quite a handful in her new position
Boston’s new position as head of sales and retention will give her authority over teams in 29 states. The teams deal with retention, acquisition, customer service and growth initiatives. Victoria is very knowledgeable with the FiOS product suite and proven her qualifications by the fact that she has previously been in charge of high performing customer care centers. She is also determined to give back to the society and recently took up the executive director at Discover.YOU™. The latter is a non-profit organization determined to offer arts and education to less fortunate youths in Compton.
Boston has undergraduate and master’s degrees in Business Administration from the Strayer University in Washington D.C. to add to her extensive knowledge due to her many years as a communications executive. Frontier Communications believes that she will be a valuable addition to its workforce. She will be instrumental towards helping the firm achieve its objectives of offering communication services to the areas where she will be operating. Her new position will allow her to widen her scope of influence as well as adding to her already strong résumé.
Frontier Communications closed the latest trading session on Wednesday at $1.33 after tanking by 1.48 percent from the value of the stock during the previous close.
