On July 11, 2017, Franklin Covey Co. (the Company) acquired Jhana Education (Jhana), a San Francisco-based company which specializes in creating and disseminating relevant, bite-sized content and learning tools for leaders and managers. The purchase price was $3.5 million in cash plus potential contingent consideration of up to $7.2 million. Jhana's expertise in creating and delivering micro-learning content and tools for leaders and managers is expected to significantly add to the scope of content and delivery capabilities offered through the Company's All Access Pass.
