Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On January 7, 2019, CytoSorbents Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing preliminary financial results for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2018. The press release incorporates an open letter to stockholders from the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Phillip Chan, discussing the Company’s recent performance and prospects. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.*

CytoSorbents Corporation is a critical care focused immunotherapy company. The Company is engaged in commercializing its product, CytoSorb, which is a blood purification technology with focus in preventing or treating multiple organ failure.
