Circle Invest announced recently that it will add Zcash (ZEC) to its platform as part of its strategy to expand its services and compete well with its rivals such as Coinbase and other established firms in the crypto market. The addition of ZEC will allow the users to instantly purchase the coin at a cheaper prize compared to other altcoins supported by the app.
Since its inception, the firm has been accepting Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ethereum Classic (ETC). The latest addition of ZEC shows that the firm is determined to support more Altcoinsin the near future to allow more customers to participate in the free crypto asset trading.
According to Rachel Mayer, Senior Product Manager at Circle Invest, the firm intends to bring the crypto world to everyone, a concept that Coinbase has mastered well in the digital world. Circle Invest platform, which was launched recently is determined to compete with Coinbase by offering low rates for trading for as little as $1 and doesn’t command for a fee.
ZEC has increasingly become an alternative to BTC following the NSA whistleblower, Edward Snowdon, who disclosed last year that ZEC’s privacy technology will make it the most interesting BTC alternative in the near future. According to Snowdon, ZEC is more secure and safe compared to BTC.
ZEC is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency that is focused on providing privacy and it enables protected transactions that hide the sender, recipient and the amount on its blockchain. Circle is currently available in almost every state of the US and it’s expected to expand its services to other parts of the country including Minnesota, Wyoming, and Hawaii and other regions in the world in the future.
