Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Updates Despite The Discovery Of A Bug In Its iOS 10.3

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has finally released its iOS 10.3, the new mobile operating system, which has been at the center of controversy. The software was reported to have a flaw, which allowed remote opening of apps from the iPhone. The error was serious according to a teenager who last year attempted to exploit the bug.

Though he has been arrested, a code shared by the teenager caused iPhones to repeatedly dial 911 flooding call centers even with unnecessary calls. This happened across multiple states, which made it difficult even to tell the actual emergency cases.

We have since fixed the bug: Apple says

Apple has been extremely busy over the last several days and just before the rolling out of the iOS 10.3. A story published in the Wall Street Journal states that the iPhone maker has fixed the bug by implementing an update on the software. Apple is said to have engaged the app developers in solving the problem.

The Wall Street Journal says, “This update will now prevent [the exploit] from happening even on apps that hadn’t already fixed the issue.”

But apart from all these upheavals, Apple has other updates

The new update, which is apparently free, will have other enhancements that will allow AirPods users to keep a tab on wireless earbuds. A new study has also revealed that the tech giant more often than not makes products that consumers can’t live without. That is perhaps the reason why more of its customers are willing to pay more for its products.

On the other hand, Ruslan Salakhutdinov, the company’s director of Artificial Intelligence research claims that artificial intelligence is facing real inadequacies. AI has a long way to go despite having become useful in recommending products to consumers.

Nonetheless, he did not disclose whether or not Apple will be playing any role in the said AI field even after having opened its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) registration. Nevertheless, rumor has it that it will be announcing the new versions of its devices. In the meantime, Apple’s stock was trading at $143.66 a fall of $0.27 or 0.19%.
