Anheuser Busch Inbev NV (ADR) (NYSE:BUD) which has revealed its intention to move ahead with as $2 billion investment plan in the United States after a series of board meetings that saw the matter discussed conspicuously. At an earlier time, its flagship Budweiser lager had suffered from falling market share and declining volumes at the same time.
The beverage company, which in recent times got to purchase its nearest rival SABMiller for almost $100 billion in a statement outlined that it would soon unveil one of the biggest capital investment programs in the United States brewing history. From records, it is said to have redirected about $500 million this year and about $2 billion through 2020.
In 2017, sources reveal that it will be directing more than $200 million on brewery and distribution projects, whereby some $82 million will be set aside to help enhance the national supply chain as well as construct a wide range of distribution centers in Columbus and Los Angeles.
