Item 2.02Results of Operations and Financial Conditions.
On May 9, 2017, Almost Family, Inc. (the Company) issued a press
release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended
March 31, 2017.In the press release, the Company also announced
among other things that, following the first quarter of 2017
acquisition of the home health and hospice assets of Community
Health Systems, Inc., the Company revised its segment reporting
to better help investors understand the performance of its core
home health operations apart from its other activities.Further,
the Company provided expanded information for its innovation
activities.
Attached as Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report
on Form 8-K is quarterly segment financial information for the
thirteen quarters ended March 31, 2017, and supplemental segment
disclosure for the three years ended December 30, 2016, that are
consistent with the format in the Companys first quarter Form
10-Q dated March 31, 2017 filed May 10, 2017.While the changes
are insignificant and the updated segment information is not
materially different from previously reported information, the
Company is providing Exhibit 99.1 and Exhibit 99.2 for ease of
access by investors.

About ALMOST FAMILY, INC. (NASDAQ:AFAM)
Almost Family, Inc., along with its subsidiaries, is a provider of home health services. The Company has two divisions, which include Home Health Care and Healthcare Innovations. The Home Health Care division consists of two segments: Visiting Nurse Services (VN or Visiting Nurse) and Personal Care Services (PC or Personal Care). Its VN segment provides a range of Medicare-certified home health nursing services to patients in need of recuperative care, typically following a period of hospitalization or care in an inpatient facility. Its PC segment provides services in patients’ homes primarily on an as-needed, hourly basis. Healthcare Innovations is also a segment. Its Healthcare Innovations segment includes its developmental activities outside its traditional home health business platform. It has service locations in Florida, Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Kentucky, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Missouri, Mississippi and Alabama.
