On March7, 2017, Joseph A. Chlapaty, the Chairman of the Board,
President and Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Drainage
Systems, Inc. (the Company), notified the Company of his
intention to retire from the Company effective December31, 2017.

On March7, 2017, the Company issued a press release announcing
the retirement of Mr.Chlapaty. A copy of the press release is
attached hereto as Exhibit99.1 and is incorporated herein by
reference.
