(b) Resignation of Director.

On December21, 2017, Dennis L. Winger notified the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Accuray Incorporated (the “Company”) of his resignation as a member of the Board of the Company and all committees thereof of which he is a member, effective December31, 2017. Mr.Winger’s decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. The Company thanks Mr.Winger for his time and dedicated service.
