Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Taking Aim at Salesforce with Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition

In a bid to challenge Salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE:CRM), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) subsidiary LinkedIn Corp (NYSE:LNKD) has launched an enterprise version of its customer relationship management (CRM) software.

LinkedIn’s CRM, Sales Navigator, now has three tiers: Professional Edition; Team Edition; and the new Enterprise Edition.

Professional Edition is designed for individuals, including features to help you find your sales job. Team Edition is suitable for sales teams. It includes more InMails, TeamLink for expanding your network of warm intro paths, CRM integration, central reporting and volume discounts. The new Enterprise Edition is designed for high-functioning sales organizations, LinkedIn said in a blog.

“Today’s announcements take Sales Navigator to the next level. We’re excited to finally share these features with you,” Doug Camplejohn, head of product for LinkedIn sales solutions, said in the blog.

The Enterprise Edition increases the number of InMails to 50 per month. It makes it easier for large companies to manage the product by adding Single Sign-On. Moreover, the Enterprise Edition features TeamLink Extend, which allows sales teams to draw on LinkedIn connections from anyone within their organization, CNBS reported.

In addition, LinkedIn has integrated PointDrive into Sales Navigator Team and Enterprise Editions at no additional charge.

PointDrive, created by a company LinkedIn acquired in July 2016, allows sales teams to share content like presentations, images, links and videos with prospective customers.

Team Edition customers will be limited to 10 PointDrives per seat per month, while Enterprise Edition customers will have unlimited PointDrives and additional management reporting.

Pricing for the new Sales Navigator Enterprise Edition starts at $1,600 per seat per year.
