operating subsidiary Swift Energy Operating, LLC (collectively
referred to herein as the Company), closed on the previously
disclosed purchase and sale agreement (the Agreement) with
Hilcorp Energy I, L.P. to divest of the Companys Lake Washington
field in Southeast Louisiana (Lake Washington Field). The Company
received $40 million, less customary closing adjustments, for the
Lake Washington Field. A copy of a press release announcing the
closing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
