On December8, 2017, Morningstar issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has approved (1) a quarterly cash dividend of 25 cents per share payable January31, 2018 to shareholders of record as of January5, 2018 and (2) a new $500 million share repurchase program, effective January 1, 2018. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit99.1 to this Form8-K.
