Effective on August 16, 2017, the Board of Directors of Handeni Gold Inc. (the "Company") accepted the resignations of William Lamarque and Gizman Abbas as directors of the Company. On the same date, the Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Melinda Hsu as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of the Company. Ms Hsu will continue to provide services to the Company as a consultant, but not as an executive officer.

Handeni Gold Inc. is an exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties. Its principal area of focus is the Handeni Gold Project, which is located in the Handeni district, within the Tanga region of the Republic of Tanzania in East Africa. Its geographical segments include Canada and Tanzania, Africa. The Company has interests in mineral claims of Handeni Gold Project through prospecting licenses (PLs) and primary mining licenses (PMLs) issued by the government of the Republic of Tanzania. The Handeni Gold properties lie within the Handeni artisanal gold mining district, located in Tanga Province, over 170 kilometers northwest of Dar Es Salaam, and approximately 100 kilometers southwest of the northerly coastal city of Tanga. As of May 31, 2016, the total area held by the Company in the Handeni district is approximately 423.03 square kilometers. As of May 31, 2016, the Company has not generated any revenues.
