On July 25, 2017, Webster Financial Corporation (the “Company”) announced that in connection with the previously announced appointment of Gregory S. Madar as Chief Financial Officer of HSA Bank, a division of the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Webster Bank, National Association, Mr. Madar will no longer serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer. Effective July 24, 2017, Glenn I. MacInnes, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will serve in that role instead of Mr. Madar until a new principal accounting officer is identified.
