On March31, 2017, NetSpend Corporation (NetSpend), a subsidiary
of Total System Services, Inc. (TSYS), issued a press release
announcing the settlement of certain matters between NetSpend and
the Federal Trade Commission. In this release, NetSpend stated
that, since September1, 2016, almost $8 million of the $40
million of previously unaccessed cardholder balances subject to
the settlement had been accessed by cardholders. This release
should have stated that, since September1, 2016, approximately
$3.6 million of those balances had been accessed. A corrected
version of this press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this
Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
TSYS has also posted the corrected version of this press release
on the investor relations section of its website.
