Tesla SUV Model X in Australia

In August, the company officially launched its SUV Model X in the Australian market.

The company calls the Model X “safest, quickest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history”.

According to the report, among the unique features of the SUV is the falcon wing doors. They look impressive and require just 30cm either side to open. The doors come with buttons rather handles. The driver-side door can automatically open and close as the driver approaches or exits the car.

The SUV features a canopy windshield consisting of the largest piece of glass in a production vehicle providing a panoramic view for passengers, according to the report.

The SUV can go from zero to 100km/h in an astonishing 3.1 seconds, while boasting a top speed of 250km/h.

The standard model has five seats but there is an option for a six and seven seat version.

Tesla plans to release a number of different variants of the Model X. The 60D, the 75D, the 90D, P90D and the P100D versions “span a range of features and capabilities to allow for a broad price range,” the newspaper reported.
