The stock of Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) closed at $6.25 plummeting 1.57% in yesterday’s trading session. Ericsson and Corda Campus have settled on Belgium for the unveiling of the first 5G Life Campus.
The new move by these two has been praised by experts who have said that most of the industry players will have much to gain. They will be in a position to develop new applications through leveraging on the latest technologies. All of them have been guaranteed of a test environment and it goes without saying that much is being done in line with encouraging innovation and creativity.
The Director of Corda Campus, Raf Degens, opined, “Corda Campus is a high technology campus, where more than 200 innovative companies work on new products and services every day. With Ericsson, this 5G Life Campus will provide industries a way to prepare for the future and grow faster.”
The Country Manager of Ericsson Belgium and Luxembourg, Saskia Van Uffelen, in his recent statement outlined that both Corda Campus and Ericsson will be in talks with the various Belgian enterprises in a bid to get them to become major players in the development of 5G.
