On April 19, 2017, following its review of competitive market data and each individual’s performance and contributions over the prior year, the compensation committee of the board of directors of Square, Inc. (the “Company”) approved an increase in the annual base salary of each of Sarah Friar, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, and Alyssa Henry, the Company’s Seller Lead, from $250,000 to $350,000, in each case effective as of April 1, 2017.
