On October20, 2017, Southern Copper Corporation (“SCC”) issued a press release announcing financial results for the quarter ended on September30, 2017. In this press release, SCC reported that on October19, 2017, its Board of Directors authorized a cash dividend of $0.25 per share of common stock. This dividend is payable on November22, 2017 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November8, 2017. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit99.1.

Southern Copper Corporation is an integrated copper producer. It produces copper, molybdenum, zinc and silver.
