On May14, 2018, Rite Aid Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the management teams of each of the Company and Albertsons Companies,Inc. (“Albertsons”) will hold a joint analyst presentation on May15, 2018 to discuss the previously announced proposed merger between the Company and Albertsons to the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of February18, 2018 (the “Merger Agreement”), by and among Albertsons, the Company, Ranch Acquisition Corp. and Ranch Acquisition II LLC.
