Effective July13, 2017, Hakan L. Orvell, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Performant Financial Corporation (the “Company”), who has served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since November 2006, will go on a leave of absence for health reasons.

During Mr.Orvell’s medical leave of absence, Ian A. Johnston, the Company’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, will also serve as the Company’s acting principal financial officer. Prior to appointment as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer in April, 2017, Mr. Johnston served as the Company’s Corporate Controller since 2005.
