(b) Pentair plc (the Company) previously announced its intention to separate the Company into two independent, publicly traded companies (the Separation). On June 26, 2017, Karen L. Keegans, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company, informed the Company that she does not intend to continue to serve as an officer of the Company after completion of the Separation.
