On July 10, 2018, Jana R. Schreuder, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Northern Trust Corporation (the “Corporation”), notified the Corporation of her decision to retire from her current role, effective August 31, 2018.

A copy of the Corporation’s press release announcing Ms. Schreuder’s decision is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
