OTHER EVENTS.

On May11, 2017, Newmont Mining Corporation announced an agreement
to invest approximately US$109million for a 19.9percent ownership
of Continental Gold Inc., supporting near-term development of the
high grade Buritic gold project in Colombia. Closing of this
investment remains subject to receipt of approval by the Toronto
Stock Exchange, which is expected by May18, 2017. A copy of the
related news release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
